Why This Matters
Your Ads Can Only Be as Good
as the Website Behind Them
Most business owners blame their Google Ads when leads dry up. The real problem is usually the website. You can have perfect targeting, a great ad, and a generous budget — and still get zero calls if the page people land on doesn’t convert.
Slow Load Speed
Every second of load time costs you conversions. Google also penalizes slow sites in rankings. Most business websites are loaded with unnecessary plugins and unoptimized images.
Broken Pages & Links
404 errors bleed link equity and frustrate visitors. One recent audit found 110 broken internal pages — each one a dead end for a potential customer and a wasted signal to Google.
Invisible to Google
Missing meta descriptions, no schema markup, thin content, and duplicate pages all tell Google your site isn’t worth ranking. You’re spending on ads to compensate for organic traffic you should already have.
Wasted Crawl Budget
Google only crawls so many pages per visit. If your site is bloated with hundreds of thin, off-topic, or duplicate pages, Google wastes its crawl budget on junk instead of your money pages.
Landing Pages That Don’t Convert
A page ranking #3 with 137,000 impressions and a 0.08% click-through rate is a real example from a real audit. The page existed — it just wasn’t compelling enough to make anyone click.
Wrong Topic Signals
If your Google Ads agency website also has pages about passive income, affiliate marketing, and web hosting — Google doesn’t know what you actually are. Topical confusion kills rankings across the board.

How it Works
What Happens After
You Submit the Form
You Submit Your Website URL
Fill out the form with your website and what you’re trying to fix. I personally review every submission — no automated responses, no account managers. I’ll reach out within one business day to confirm I have everything I need.
I Run the Full Audit
I crawl your site with Screaming Frog, pull your Google Search Console and GA4 data, run your keyword rankings through Ubersuggest, and analyze your backlink profile. This typically takes 2–3 hours of actual work — not an automated tool click.
We Get on a Call
I walk you through exactly what I found — what’s broken, what’s costing you traffic, and what’s hurting your ad performance. You’ll leave the call with a clear, prioritized list of what to fix — whether you hire me or not.
You Decide What to Do Next
No pressure. If you want help implementing the fixes — or if you want to pair the audit with Google Ads management so your campaigns have a solid foundation — we can talk about that. If you just want the findings and want to handle it yourself, that’s completely fine too.
The Connect to paid Ads
Why We Audit Before We Run Ads
Every client I take on for Google Ads gets a website audit first. Here’s why — and why it saves you money.
💸
Bad Pages Waste Ad Budget
If your landing page loads slowly, has no clear CTA, or isn’t mobile friendly — every click you pay for is money wasted. Fixing the page before launching ads can cut cost per lead in half.
📊
Google Rewards Good Sites
Google Ads Quality Score is partly based on your landing page experience. A better site means higher Quality Scores — which means lower CPCs. Your ads literally cost less when your website is better.
🎯
Organic + Paid = Double Coverage
When your site ranks organically AND you’re running ads, you own more real estate on page one. The audit finds which pages are close to ranking — so you can push them over the line while ads do the immediate heavy lifting.
🔎
You Know What You’re Paying For
Most agencies just launch campaigns. We start with the audit so you understand exactly what we’re fixing, why we’re fixing it, and what result to expect. No black box. No guessing.

Francisco Meza
Founder, Planet Marketing — San Diego, CA
I’ve been auditing websites and managing paid search campaigns for service businesses for over 20 years. The audit process I use is the same one I ran on my clients’ sites — which turned up 110 broken pages, 2,494 images missing alt text, and a page with 137,000 impressions converting at 0.08%.
When you submit your site, I’m the one running the crawl, pulling the data, and getting on the call with you. Not an assistant. Not a junior analyst. Me.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Just your website URL and access to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4. If you don’t have GSC or GA4 set up, I can still run a full technical crawl and keyword ranking analysis — you’ll just miss the traffic performance data, which is valuable to have. I can also help you get those set up.
Those tools give you data. I give you a diagnosis and a plan. Screaming Frog might tell you that you have 110 pages with missing meta descriptions — but it won’t tell you which 10 actually matter, which ones should be deleted, and what order to fix things in. That’s what 20 years of experience adds on top of the tool.
The free audit typically takes 2–3 business days before we get on a call. The paid standalone audit is delivered within 5 business days with a written report and screenshots. Larger sites with thousands of pages may take slightly longer.
No. The audit is valuable on its own — whether you’re running ads, planning to run ads, or just want to understand why your site isn’t ranking organically. That said, if you’re spending money on ads and haven’t audited your site, you’re almost certainly wasting a significant portion of your budget on pages that don’t convert.
Both options are available. The audit itself delivers the findings and a prioritized action plan. If you want me to implement the fixes — redirects, meta descriptions, schema markup, content cuts — we can discuss an implementation package. Or you can take the report to your developer or handle it yourself. No obligation either way.
