Your prospective customers will likely read your reviews before deciding to purchase your product or service. The presence or absence of reviews can significantly influence whether visitors choose to buy from you or leave your site.
Consider your own shopping habits—when you buy something from Amazon or eBay, do you read the reviews? If a product has no reviews, are you still inclined to buy it? The impact of reviews on customer decision-making cannot be underestimated.

2) How Trustpilot Review Helps You Make More Sales?
Using TrustPilot to boost sales for your business can be achieved through several strategies:
What does TrustPilot do?
Store Ratings
If you’re leveraging Google Ads, TrustPilot can significantly enhance your online credibility. Store Ratings are particularly valuable for ecommerce and service-based companies. They help establish trust right from the search engine results, potentially increasing your click-through rate and conversions.
Product Ratings
If you run an online store and want star ratings to show in your Google Shopping PLAs, you need to use TrustPilot. The image below demonstrates how your product ratings will appear directly in Google search results. Note: Ads may occasionally be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.
3) TrustPilot Discounted Pricing (you need to ask for it)
UPDATE: I recently got clarity on the issue of pricing from Zachary at Trustpilot. Here is the relevant section of the email;
$199/mo Store Ratings
$99 Product Ratings in addition to the $199.= $299 starting Store AND Product ratings!
10% off Zachary.
We can go about the trial with 2 different routes. The first option, would be a completely free trial, for the duration of 2 weeks. The second option that we did not discuss, would be getting started on our Standard package(199/month), and then receiving a 1 month free trial of add-ons.
TrustPilot Pricing explained
Standard pricing on the Trustpilot website starts at $349 per month for the “Lite” plan, and $599 per month for the “Pro” plan. However, I’ve secured a discount for you. By using my referral link, you can access the plans at a lower rate. After signing up, make sure to mention that you were referred by Francisco at Planet Marketing. This will get you the following plans:
We have referred hundreds of companies to TrustPilot. To get a discount, sign up using our referral link and mention to the representative, “Francisco at Planet Marketing says there’s a discount for anyone he signs up.”
For service-based businesses, the Lite plan is usually sufficient. Ecommerce sites running Google Shopping PLA ads should opt for the Pro plan and add the “Product reviews” addon. If your ecommerce site is not using Google Shopping, you do not need to purchase the ‘Product reviews’ addon.
4) Why Is TrustPilot The Most Recognized 3rd-Party Review Aggregator?
Peter Holten Mühlmann, the founder and CEO, launched TrustPilot in 2007. It is one of the oldest review companies approved by Google as one of its 29 approved third-party aggregators. TrustPilot is licensed by Google to integrate ratings into Google Ads and boasts $55 million in external funding, 700 employees, and 7 global offices.
Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, their locations also include London, New York, Denver, Vilnius, Berlin, and Melbourne. TrustPilot has a large sales department. While, Francisco Meza, the owner of Planet Marketing, once found their sales approach overly aggressive, I now see that they have improved significantly in building relationships with potential customers rather than relying on hard sales pitches.
5) TrustPilot Dashboard
During your demo, the sales rep will walk you through the entire dashboard in detail. We’ll focus here only on the areas that drive revenue.
Invitation Frequency
If you don’t request reviews, you won’t receive them! This section is where you set the frequency and send the initial review invitation.
Automatic Feedback Service
TrustPilot’s system will automate sending out emails for you. You will not need to manually send reminders.
Dispute Negative Feedback
No company has a perfect 5-star rating across the board—you will inevitably receive a negative review from time to time. However, if you believe a negative rating was unfair, you have the option to dispute it here.
6) Conclusion
In summary, TrustPilot review will benefit your company in three key areas:
- Enhance Visibility: Display your ratings directly on Google Ads. If you run an ecommerce business, prioritize getting Store Ratings for your CPC text ads and add the addon to show ratings under your Google Shopping PLA ads. For service-based websites, Store Ratings are all you need.
- Improve Conversion Rate: Reviews are crucial in convincing potential buyers to choose your product over others. Consider this: Amazon and eBay built their empires on trust. Would you buy a product from Amazon with zero reviews? Most people wouldn’t.
- Manage Your Reputation: Your reputation is a critical factor in selling more products or services through online marketing. TrustPilot helps you collect reviews and build a strong reputation, which also gives you an edge over competitors. Plus, it’s a Google ranking factor!
